I brought a couple of weeks ago from A&H International the calf guards. The theroy behind these is that they keep the calf muscles supported and so they dont get tired and lactate acid doesnt cause you to tire.
I wasnt to sure which size I would need but I checked with A&H and went with the large. When I first put them on i wasnt sure if they were going to be to tight, however they were suprisingly comfortable. Although the foot hook does feel a bit strange. I wore them the first time on Tuesday night and felt fine and my calfs didnt tire at all. However I didnt think thats not such a problem on the line.
So today was going to be the test. We had a slow and a mud bath. I would normally have expected to have had heavy calfs in the last 20 minutes however had no such problems. My calf’s feel great.
I had a bit of a problem where my left calf would cramp up, so thought id give these a bash and although a bit pricey they are a great purchase. If you scroll down the right of the page there is a link to A&H if you wish to buy.

got some this season best buy yet recovery time better
