The Referee

I went through my kit bag the other night and decided to look what I need to order for the new season, to be honest not a lot really.     I didn’t really need anything drastically.  With the FA blocking the new Umbro kit due to it not meeting FA Regulations, that saved a chunk of change.  So all I’ve really needed was some new white topped socks.  I’m actually only buying these as the ones from last season had frayed, they were still white and not gray thanks to the sports wash on our washer.

I was looking around on Official Sports to see what else I could justify spending money on and I noticed that the match pads now have room for 7 subs.  I was going to have to buy a new pad some point during the season, so thinking back to last seasons FA Cup games I decided to buy a set of these.  I also purchased a couple of the small pens to give a go instead of a pencil.  Not sure how well these will work out to be honest.    Other than that, I was thinking about a new set of boots but to be honest there isn’t anything wrong with the ones I got, there only a few months old.
