This week I’m no longer “off sick” with my busted ankle. I’m now working from home which is quite a nice change. Its also nice to get up at 8 and be on line having had breakfast etc for 8.30.  Gives me an extra 1.5hrs in bed which is nice.  I am though starting to get sick of being at home and trapped at home. I went to the supermarket on Monday with my wife and thought id drive the 3 miles back, bit of mistake that i struggled with it.
I decided last night I was going to go for a bit of walk to get some air and get out of the 4 walls that I’m trapped in.  Again struggled with it. The ankle itself is starting to feel a lot better. Bruising is easing, although Ive had some nice new fresh bruising. The main problem I have is the bottom of the Achilles, ankle bone joint area.  I’m not sure if Ive got bruising there waiting to come out or not but its painful there still.   I also think I may have suffered some nerve damage which I’m going to monitor. The reason I say this i thought id put some deep heat on it, and didn’t feel it get warm at all. Where as my hands were quite toasty!
Ive ruled this weekend out, and I’m planning to get out and watch a game. Ive got 3 planned games and it all depends on what I feel i can stand with my ankle and if I’m driving.  In my mind i focusing on the 9th, but that may be just a touch to close at the moment.  The shame is the way my fixtures fall this month is that I have 2 middles followed by 2 lines. Lines are going to punish it more than middles with the turning and thats a bit of a blow.
