Book Review -Graham Poll Seeing Red

Ive mentioned before that I was a bit wary of Graham Poll launching a book so soon after his retirement. When you read some of the extracts that were being shown by the papers I had a feeling it was going to be a book aimed at getting publicity.
Graham Poll Seeing Red
However I have to say Ive been really surprised. It starts off at the World Cup and the Australia vs Croatia game, moving on to the “Terry incident”. It then though moves back in time to when he started, talking about his early days and how he belives the view that he is arrogant came around.

Its clear from reading the book that he had been unhappy for a while last season and its interesting to read how the togetherness of the select group dissolved over recent years. I don’t want to give to much away but there is an “weird” end to the chapter on the 2002 world cup.

Id recommend the book to anyone who has an interest in Football or being a Ref. When you see the commitments the top guys make your view may well change of them.  If you want to buy it for not to much a price you can allways check out ebay
