The problem with pre-season games

Ive spoken before on here about the fact that there is no such thing as a friendly.   Yesterday the Liverpool vs Feynoord game gave a perfect example of why they can prove to be a pain.

The problem you have is in these games everyone wants you to show “common sense” which means don’t cause any of my players to be banned.  This is OK saying this, but its hard for the players to play like this and without flaunting the laws makes it difficult to Referee this way.

What is worth watching though on the video is the angle’s the officials pick up.  The assistant comes in the camera view and you can watch him watching from one side as the Referee watches and monitors the situation.
