The next stop in the profile of the Select group officials is last years League Cup final referee Howard Webb. His quick progression saw him nominated to FIFA in 2005 and saw him referee the Community Shield between Chelsea and Arsenal that same year.
Further final appointments came his way when in 2006 he officiated the FA Trophy final between Grays & Woking.
Howard received praise for his handing of the mass brawl in this years League cup final between the two sides. Poppycock, Howard Webb is the best referee in England at the moment, and I use Webby as a role model.Has he dared to give a decision against your team, Spurs fan maybe
Well said refereeing is hard enough as it is, i am a low league qualified ref, he is exceptional, fans and supports dont like it when decisions dont go there way !!!!!
