The Referee

At some point through our referee careers we are going to have to attend an hearing where a player or club official has appealed a misconduct report.

However today I was informed that I need to attend a hearing following a report I placed last season regards an incident involving a neutral assistant referee. I wont go into the reasons here because 1) its not fair on the individual 2) until the hearing its not appropriate.

However I have to say I’m not looking forward to it. I am though quite intrigued how it got to that stage as all I did was report it to the league but its gone now to the County FA.
